This is for qualitative determination of cardiac Troponin I in the human whole blood, serum and plasma as an aid in the diagnosis of myocardial injury. Cardiac Troponin I is found in blood at elevated concentrations approximately 4-6 hours after the onset of chest pain and peak at 12-24 hours. Troponin I levels remain elevated for upto 10 days. |
