Why is the Test Done?
This test is a molecular assay used for diagnosis and confirmation of tuberculosis. The results should be interpreted in the light of patient's symptoms and clinical presentation. The test helps in detection and identification of M.tuberculosis, M.avium and M.intracellularae Complex. ( Paste the same in MTB PCR)
