This is a molecular test used for detection of high risk and low risk HPV(Human Papilloma Virus) DNA. Human papillomavirus (HPV) is the most common sexually transmitted viral infection and is the etiologic agent for most cases of cervical cancer. High-risk HPV genotypes are also associated with an increased risk of developing vulvar, vaginal, anal, penile, and oropharyngeal cancer.
